(Cairo, July 18, 2010) The Somali President Sharif Sheikh Ahmed spent his second day in Cairo meeting with the Arab League Secretary General and Arab Ambassadors.

In his joint session with Secretary Amr Moussa and the Arab Ambassadors, President Sharif informed them that Somalia is in a critical juncture of its history and tangible and timely Arab support is urgently required.

Both Amr Moussa and the assembled Arab Ambassadors assured the Somali President that Somalia could count on immediate support from the Arab nations.

The President also took the time to meet with notables Somalis in Cairo such the former President Abdiqasim Salad Hassan and members of the Somali community in Egypt and others who
