Somali Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid Ali came back to Mogadishu and met with members of the parliament who support his government, Radio Garowe reports.
Sources told Garowe Online that the Prime Minister discussed with the lawmakers the motion against him tabled in the parliament, urging them to give his government the vote of confidence.
"The Prime Minister is campaigning for his government," said one of the Somali government officials who requested not to be named.
Sharma'arke and his delegations came back from Kenya, where in the past week they were meeting representatives from international community.
"We want to talk to the International Community how to empower the government and AMISOM, and to train the government troops inside the country," Sharma'arke told reporters in Jomma Kenyatta Airport in Kenyan capital Nairobi before leaving for Mogadishu.
"There are problems that caused the government not to work probably, It is unfortunate today members of the parliament are bringing motion against the government," Sharma’arke told the lawmakers two weeks ago.
