Somalia: Road-side bomb kills one, injured two

Roadside bomb targeted to Somali government soldiers in Gedo region of Somalia killed at least one soldier and injured two others on Thursday, witnessed told Garowe Online.
A Witness who spoke in condition of anonymity said unknown militias targeted a roadside bomb to Ahlu Sunah soldiers in Luuq District, a Somali-Ethiopian border town in Gedo region and killed one soldier and wounded two others.
Ahlu Sunah officials denied the causalities of their soldiers but told to the media that civilian have been injured in the blast.
Ahlu Sunah forces arrested six people for suspecting to have in connection with bomb attack.
Ahlu Sunna Wal Jamaa, pro Islamists took over the control over Luuq and other strategic districts from Al-Shabaab extremist militias early on March after deadly clashes between them that left dead more than 100 people, mostly civilians.
Somalia was in chaos for the last two decades after clan militias overthrew Siad Barreās administration in 1991.
