A suspected gun-man was shot died on Monday evening by the AU troops/AMISOM in Somalia capital of Mogadishu when he tried to attack presidential palace, Villa Somalia, Radio Garowe Reports.
The suspect crossed the check-points and started firing bullets to the AMISOM soldiers, but was shot-down on spot by the soldier who were controlling Villa Somalia.
AMISOM soldier said that he was wearing suicide-bombing vest while his body is still at the palace.
No investigation was carried out how the suicide bomber crossed all the government check-point but the is report says that he was among the security guards of Somali interior Minister, Sheikh Abdikadir Omar Ali
Last Month, Islamist militants wearing Somali military uniforms stormed a hotel favored by lawmakers in the war-battered capital firing indiscriminately and killing 32 people, including six parliamentarians.
Somali insurgents group have vowed to increase heavy attacks against the Somali transitional federal government and the African Union troops in the capital.
