MUSCAT — His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has sent a cable of greetings to Abdullah Yousef Ahmed, president of Somalia, on the occasion of his country’s National Day.

In his cable, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere greetings and best wishes of good health and happiness to the president and the Somali brotherly people progress and prosperity.

His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has also sent a similar cable of greetings to General Paul Kagame, president of Rwanda, on the occasion of his country’s National Day. In his cable, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his greetings and best wishes to him and to the people of his country.

His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has sent a cable of greetings to Pierre Nekurunziza of Burundi on the occasion of his country’s National Day. In his cable, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his greetings and best wishes to President Nekurunziza and to the people of his country.

His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has also sent a cable of greetings to Michaelle Jean, governor-general of Canada, on the occasion of her country’s National Day. In his cable, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere greetings along with his best wishes of good health and happiness to her and the Canadian friendly people continued progress.
