Former Puntland President hosts dinner for Somalia ex-premier

GAROWE, Somalia, January 5, 2016 (Garowe Online)-Former Puntland President Abdirahman Mohamed Farole has hosted dinner for ex-premier Ali Mohamed Geddi in the capital, Garowe on Monday evening, Garowe Online reports.

Farole and Geddi discussed the current political situation, exchanging views on the country’s electoral transition in 2016.

Politician Salad Ali Jelle and former Puntland cabinet members, among them Finance Minister Farah Ali Shire attended the event held in honor of visiting delegation.

Geddi’s delegation including then Prime Minister Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed Mohamed arrived to warm welcome in Garowe on Monday.

The political leaders are scheduled to join Puntland leadership for ribbon-cutting ceremony at Bossaso airport on 8th of January.
