KISMAYO, Somalia, May 20, 2015 (Garowe Online)-Jubaland President Sheikh Ahmed Mohamed Islam (Madobe) has made first reshuffle, moving some cabinet members to new ministerial dockets while others retained their posts on Wednesday, Garowe Online reports.

Mohamed Sheikh Yusuf was assigned to the Ministry of Mines, Environment and Water, with Information Minister Ibrahim Baajuun being replaced with him as Finance Minister.

Adan is set to head Jubaland’s Ministry for Information.

On December 7, 2013, Madobe announced a line up consisting of 8 ministers and second Vice President.

The reshuffle comes less a month after 75-member regional assembly was inaugurated in the southern port city of Kismayo.

Jubaland shares Somalia’s extreme southern border with Kenya, and gained its recognition from the Federal Government in August 2013.
