MOGADISHU, Somalia Jan 17, 2015 (Garowe Online)-Federal Government of Somalia’s Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke has written to the lawmakers following concerns over the outcome of planned parliamentary vote on Saturday, Garowe Online reports.

According to a press statement from his office, Prime Minister Sharmarke asked Federal MPs to let him review 59 choices in cabinet lineup.

The move comes less than three days after 120 lawmakers in Somalia parliament turned down request for deadline extension.

Parliamentarians are protesting the inclusion of Abdikarin Hussein Guled as Minister of Interior, Farah Sheikh Abdulkadir as Justice Minister, Hussein Abdi Halane as Finance Minister and Abdulahi Mohamed Ali (Sanbaloshe), the new national security minister in the cabinet.

Speaker Mohamed Shiekh Osman Jawari Thursday announced that cabinet members will face confidence vote in parliament.

If removed in premature reshuffle, it will deal severe blow to President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud who maintains close links with the four.
