GAROWE, Somalia, December 6, 2015 (Garowe Online)-Top Human Rights lawyer chided Puntland government for failures on Sunday, Garowe Online reports.
Mohamed Yusuf Ali, a professional lawyer who heads The Office for the Protection and Promotion of Human Rights (OHRD) has said in Puntland Parliament that his fledgling office is grappling with financial woes after the government failed to pay a salary amounting to USD 65,000.00 to staff for up to seven months.

Security forces and judiciary staff have for long been known for staging mutinies over delayed pays.
Puntland Human Rights Office is tasked with offering advices to relevant authorities.
