Puntland ex-President, Italian envoy to Somalia meet in Bossaso

BOSSASO, Somalia, January 8, 2016 (Garowe Online)-Former Puntland President Abdirahman Mohamed Farole has received Italian delegation led by Ambassador Michele Fabrezio in Bossaso port city on Thursday, Garowe Online reports.

Ambassador Fabrezia was heading a delegation, among them officials from United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS).

The visit to Farole’s residence and subsequent meeting centred around chats on the current political situation and Italy’s generous assistance for Somalia.

Italian government has funded Bossaso airport upgrade project.

Former Puntland President is visiting Bossaso for the inauguration of Bossaso international airport.
