Somalia: Accomplice in female journalist killing apprehended

MOGADISHU, Somalia, December 19, 2015 (Garowe Online)-A person alleged to be mastermind behind killing of female journalist working for state broadcaster has been apprehended, Garowe Online reports.

Deputy Information Minister Abdullahi Olad Rooble told reporters in Mogadishu that accomplice in blast that killed late India Haji Mohamed of Somali National TV is in the hands of security agencies.

Somalia Federal Government would put the detained individual on display very soon, he added.

Mohamed died from injuries a few hours after a bomb attached to her car went off.

Her husband was targeted in similar explosion in the past.
