Somalia: Two killed in Mogadishu explosion

MOGADISHU, Somalia, July 7, 2015 (Garowe Online)-Two civilian bystanders have been killed in remotely-detonated bomb blast in Mogadishu’s Karan district according to witnesses, Garowe Online reports.

Security sources said, the bomb would have been attached to the car, with the likely target being identified as young man.

The driver reportedly sustained serious injuries and the explosion left two bystanders dead. Three others have also been reported wounded.

Police immediately arrived and cordoned off the roads leading to the site of the bomb blast.

Two days ago, intelligence official was targeted in similar attack.

Al Shabaab has stepped up deadly rampages since the start of the holy month of Ramadan.
