MOGADISHU, Somalia - Tabaarak ICT Solutions has officially achieved the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification on 17 November 2025, marking a major milestone in the company’s ongoing commitment to excellence, accountability, and internationally recognized standards. To mark this achievement, the company organized a high-level event attended by government officials, academic leaders, partners, and stakeholders from across Somalia’s public and private sectors.

The certification reflects Tabaarak ICT Solutions’ systematic approach to quality management, customer focus, process efficiency, and continuous improvement—principles that underpin its growing role in driving digital transformation within Somalia and across the region.

Speaking at the event, Gure Abdi, CEO of Tabaarak ICT Solutions, underscored the company’s long-term vision and strategic direction:

“From the outset, we defined a clear vision to contribute to Somalia’s transformation. We work closely with the Benadir Regional Administration and the governments of Hirshabelle, Galmudug, and South West State to modernize public-sector operations and digitize revenue collection systems. Our impact extends regionally through the Faras App, operating across Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, and Tanzania, and previously in Sudan. To ensure consistent service delivery, strong customer focus, and continuous improvement, we implemented a robust Quality Management System and achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification in line with internationally recognized quality standards.”

Government representatives praised Tabaarak’s contribution to public-sector reform and service delivery. Ciise Guure, Deputy Governor for Administration and Finance of the Benadir Regional Administration, highlighted the company’s professionalism and its impact on public finance systems:

“Tabaarak works with us on the systems through which we collect public revenues. We are witnesses to their professionalism, transparency, and the quality of service they provide to the public. I commend them and congratulate them on achieving the international ISO 9001:2015 certification.”

The academic community also recognized the broader significance of the achievement. Prof. Mohamud Jimale, from the Center for Postgraduate Studies at Jamhuriya University, emphasized that the certification validates its real-world impact:

“While the ISO 9001:2015 certification represents an important international recognition for Tabaarak ICT Solutions, the true measure of their success lies in the tangible impact they have delivered for the nation, particularly through the digitalization initiatives and commendable contributions made to the Benadir Region

Reflecting on Tabaarak’s role in transforming local government operations, Yusuf Hussein Jimale (Madaale), Former Governor of the Benadir Region, noted the measurable improvements achieved through digitalization:

“We have trusted Tabaarak ICT Solutions to digitalize local government operations, and they truly exceeded our expectations. Manual cash handling was replaced by a system-based approach, and local government revenues began to increase from that point onward—thanks to Tabaarak’s contribution to this development.”

The attainment of ISO 9001:2015 certification reinforces the company’s readiness to scale its solutions, strengthen stakeholder confidence, and deepen its impact across government, business, and regional markets. As Tabaarak ICT Solutions continues to expand its footprint and innovate across sectors, the certification serves not only as a mark of compliance but also as a strategic foundation for sustained growth, trust, and excellence in service delivery.
