NAIROBI, (G0) - Kenya’s fifth president Dr. William Ruto has unveiled his 22 cabinets just two weeks after he was sworn in. According to political expert Dr. Duncan Ojwang, the new cabinet slots were awarded to his loyal campaign team who endured persecution from state machinery during the political campaign period.

“Those who were by the president’s side can now smile with the new appointment as the new cabinet secretaries that will steer his first term in his office. Those appointed are those who were by his side during a political campaign that saw the majority of those appointed being targeted by the former administrations under former president Uhuru Kenyatta.” Comments Dr. Ojwang.

The unveiling of the new cabinet comes hours after meeting with Uhuru’s former cabinet secretaries at the state house –Nairobi.

While addressing Kenyans from State House Nairobi, President Ruto unpacked to Kenyans the men and women who he entrusted with the responsibility of delivering on his political manifesto promised to Kenyans.
