Baashe Yuusuf oo diiday xil-ka-qaadistiisa, kuna eedeeyay Xasan Sheekh faragelin garsoor iyo cabsi-gelin
MUQDISHO | 7 November 2026
MUQDISHO (Garowe Online) — Guddoomiyihii xilka laga qaaday ee Maxkamadda Sare ee Soomaaliya, Baashe Yuusuf Axmed, ayaa Sabtidii si adag uga horyimid go’aankii Madaxweyne Xasan Sheekh Maxamuud uu xilka kaga qaaday, isagoo ku tilmaamay mid baal-marsan dastuurka iyo shuruucda dalka, isla markaana ku eedeeyay dowladda inay ciidamo la wareegtay xarunta Maxkamadda Sare, cabsi-gelinna ku hayso garsoorayaasha.
Shir jaraa’id oo uu ku qabtay Muqdisho, Baashe ayaa sheegay in xil-ka-qaadistiisu ay xiriir la leedahay go’aanno garsoor oo Maxkamadda Sare ka gaartay dacwado siyaasadeed iyo kuwo dastuuriga ah, oo ay ku jiraan murankii doorashada Galmudug iyo dacwad la xiriirta muddo-xileedka hay’adaha dowladda federaalka.
Baashe ayaa sheegay in Maxkamadda Sare ay gudatay waajibaadkeeda dastuuriga ah markii ay qaadday dacwad uu soo gudbiyay muwaadin Soomaaliyeed, isagoo ku adkeystay in garsoorku xaq u leeyahay inuu fasirayo shuruucda, kana garnaqo dacwadaha loo soo gudbiyo.
Waxa uu sidoo kale sheegay in Maxkamaddu go’aan ka gaartay muranka muddo-xileedka dowladda, isla maalintii la shaaciyay xil-ka-qaadistiisa.
Habraaca xil-ka-qaadista
Baashe ayaa ku dooday in Madaxweynaha uusan keligiis awood u lahayn xil-ka-qaadista Guddoomiyaha Maxkamadda Sare, isagoo sharaxay habraac afar marxaladood ah oo uu sheegay inuu dhigayo dastuurka ay dowladdu ansixisay.
Sida uu sheegay, xil-ka-qaadistu waxay u baahan tahay soo-jeedin ay taageeraan saddex-meelood laba xubnaha Golaha Sare ee Garsoorka, kadibna oggolaanshaha labada aqal ee Baarlamaanka, iyadoo aqal kasta si gaar ah ugu codeynayo cod qarsoodi ah oo lagu ansixinayo aqlabiyad kala bar iyo hal ah. Madaxweynaha ayaa markaas soo saaraya wareegtada xil-ka-qaadista.
Wuxuu sheegay in habraacaas aan la marin, sidaas darteedna uusan aqbali karin go’aanka xil-ka-qaadistiisa.
“Ma difaacayo xilka sababtoo ah aniga ayaa haya; waxaan difaacayaa sharciga ilaalinaya xilka si uu berri u ilaaliyo qof kasta oo si sharci ah u qabta xilkaas,” ayuu yiri.
Eedeymo ku saabsan ciidamada iyo amniga garsoorayaasha
Baashe ayaa ku eedeeyay dowladda inay xarunta Maxkamadda Sare geysay ciidamo uu tiradooda ku qiyaasay 300 oo askari iyo 30 gaadiidka dagaalka ah, kuwaas oo uu sheegay inay ka tirsan yihiin milatariga, booliska, sirdoonka iyo ciidamada asluubta.
Waxa uu sidoo kale ku eedeeyay dowladda in la jabsaday nidaamyadii internetka, bogaggii Facebook iyo cinwaannadii email-ka ee Maxkamadda Sare, isagoo tallaabooyinkaas ku tilmaamay kuwo ka baxsan hab-dhaqanka dowladnimo.
“Waxaa loo dhaqmay sida maafiyada, looma dhaqmin sida dawladnimo,” ayuu yiri Baashe.
Guddoomiyihii xilka laga qaaday ayaa sheegay in isaga iyo garsoorayaal kale ay wajahayaan handadaad iyo khatar amni, isagoo xusay inuusan ammaan ku dareemayn caasimadda Muqdisho.
Eedeymahan si madax-bannaan looma xaqiijin, mana jirin jawaab rasmi ah oo ku saabsan dhammaan sheegashooyinkan oo lagu soo bandhigay shirkiisa.
Dhaarinta Guddoomiyaha cusub
Mar wax laga weydiiyay dhaarinta Guddoomiyaha cusub ee Maxkamadda Sare, Baashe ayaa sheegay in dhaartu sharciyad yeelan karto oo keliya haddii magacaabista lagu saleeyo dastuurka iyo shuruucda dalka.
Wuxuu ku tilmaamay dhaarinta qof lagu magacaabay hab aan dastuurka waafaqsanayn mid aan sharciyad siin karin magacaabistaas, isagoo caddeeyay inuusan xilka uga tanaasulayn go’aan uu u arko sharci-darro.
Baashe ayaa sidoo kale diiday eedeymo uu sheegay in Maxkamadda Sare loogu jeediyay inay u shaqeyso dal shisheeye, isagoo ku tilmaamay eedeymahaas kuwo meel ka dhac ku ah hay’adaha qaranka.
Baaq loo jeediyay Madaxweynaha
Baashe ayaa Madaxweyne Xasan Sheekh ugu baaqay inuu ka laabto go’aanka xil-ka-qaadista, ciidamada ka qaado xarunta Maxkamadda Sare, isla markaana joojiyo waxa uu ku tilmaamay cabsi-gelinta garsoorayaasha iyo shaqaalaha garsoorka.
Waxa uu sidoo kale Madaxweynaha ugu baaqay inuu ka shaqeeyo midnimada Soomaalida iyo xasilloonida dalka, isagoo walaac ka muujiyay xaaladda amniga Muqdisho iyo dhacdooyinka Beledweyne.
Dhanka kale, Madaxtooyada Soomaaliya ayaa hore xil-ka-qaadista Baashe ugu sababaysay cabashooyin la xiriira maamulka iyo habsami-u-socodka garsoorka.
Khilaafkan ayaa sii xoojiyay muranka siyaasadeed iyo kan dastuuriga ah ee ka taagan Soomaaliya, gaar ahaan awoodda Madaxweynaha ee magacaabista iyo xil-ka-qaadista madaxda garsoorka, iyo madax-bannaanida Maxkamadda Sare.

Ousted Somalia Chief Justice Rejects Removal, Accuses Hassan Sheikh of Judicial Interference and Intimidation
MOGADISHU | November 7, 2026
MOGADISHU (Garowe Online) — Somalia’s ousted Supreme Court Chief Justice, Bashe Yusuf Ahmed, on Saturday rejected President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud’s decision to remove him from office, describing the move as unconstitutional and accusing the government of deploying hundreds of security personnel around the Supreme Court and intimidating judges.
Speaking at a news conference in Mogadishu, Ahmed linked his dismissal to a series of politically sensitive court decisions, including a dispute over elections in Galmudug state and a constitutional case concerning the tenure of federal government institutions.
Ahmed said the Supreme Court had acted within its constitutional mandate by hearing a petition filed by a Somali citizen, arguing that the judiciary has a duty to interpret the law and adjudicate disputes regardless of their political implications.
He said the court issued a ruling concerning the government’s term of office on the same day the presidency announced his dismissal.
Constitutional dispute over removal
Ahmed argued that the president has no unilateral authority to dismiss the Supreme Court’s chief justice.
Citing provisions of the constitution approved by the government, he outlined a four-stage removal process requiring a two-thirds recommendation from the Judicial Service Commission, followed by separate approvals from both houses of parliament through secret ballots, with each chamber requiring a majority of half its members plus one.
Only after completing those procedures, he said, could the president issue a formal dismissal decree.
“I am not defending the position because I hold it. I am defending the law that protects the office so that it can protect whoever lawfully occupies it tomorrow,” Ahmed said.
He maintained that none of the required procedures had been followed and that he would accept removal only through a lawful constitutional process.
Security deployment and intimidation allegations
Ahmed accused the government of deploying approximately 300 security personnel and 30 armed military vehicles around the Supreme Court, including members of the military, police, intelligence services and custodial forces.
He further alleged that the court’s internet systems, official Facebook pages and email accounts had been compromised.
“They acted like a mafia, not like a government,” Ahmed said, describing what he alleged was a campaign of intimidation against Supreme Court judges and staff.
Ahmed said he no longer felt safe in Mogadishu, warning that the situation threatened judicial independence and the ability of courts to operate without political pressure.
The allegations concerning the deployment, cyber intrusions and threats could not be independently verified.
Swearing-in of new chief justice
Asked about the swearing-in of his replacement, Ahmed questioned the legality of the appointment, arguing that an oath cannot validate an appointment made outside constitutional procedures.
He also rejected accusations that the Supreme Court was acting on behalf of a foreign country, calling such allegations an insult to the judiciary and Somalia’s national institutions.
Ahmed said the dispute was not about retaining his position but protecting the independence of the courts and the principle that no individual, including the president, stands above the law.
Call for withdrawal of security forces
Ahmed called on President Mohamud to reverse the dismissal, withdraw security personnel from the Supreme Court and end what he described as threats and intimidation against judicial officials.
He also urged the president to prioritize national unity and political reconciliation, expressing concern about security conditions in Mogadishu and developments in Beledweyne.
The presidency had previously attributed Ahmed’s dismissal to complaints concerning judicial administration and the functioning of the courts.
The confrontation has intensified Somalia’s constitutional and political dispute, raising questions over presidential authority, judicial independence and the legal procedures governing the appointment and removal of senior judges.
